Posted by Pablo Rebolledo on May 26, 2016 9:10:06 PM

You don’t have to feel lost in the void of social media marketing.

At the top of the Inbound Marketing funnel is the word “Attract”. To attract your ideal customers, a brand needs to provide good and relevant contentthis content is often delivered through blogs, website pages and emails. There’s another place to share content though, but many brands have trouble breaking into the fray. Social media.

The mystery of social media comes from a brand’s first entry onto a platform. Twitter is notorious for scaring off new users, due to a high entry level. The signal to noise ratio can be overwhelming for startup brands and businesses, and it can be discouraging when trying to find followers.

By following the principles of Inbound Marketing, you never have to worry about being invisible on Twitter.

How To Get Quality Leads on Twitter

Posted by Melody Rodriguez on Oct 17, 2014 4:00:00 PM

To be honest, like many small business owners and start-up employees, I started using Twitter for our company with little knowledge of how to actually generate business.

It's difficult to measure social media ROI, and many times, business owners don't want to allocate the time or money because they don't see the value in a retweet if it doesn't equal a dollar sign. But all engagement on social media is important.

With that said, there are opportunities to generate actual qualified leads on Twitter (and other social media platforms).

Run a Facebook Promotion First, Engage Facebook Followers Second

Posted by Pablo Rebolledo on Aug 11, 2014 9:30:00 AM

The evolution of the Internet has changed the way we see the world. TV commercials, direct emails, and billboards are becoming less attractive.

Therefore, inbound marketing focuses on engaging with clients through information that's appealing to them. This engaging marketing technique has been proven effective through social media.

The desire to connect, explore, and be heard is imminent in the online community, and this is why inbound marketing plays an important role when promoting your business.

A common misconception is that great content is the first step for inbound marketing, but content can’t do its job; it can’t engage, if there’s no one to engage with.

Let’s take Facebook as an example: Your business website has a great blog and you want to display it on your business Facebook page. Great, you are moving in the right direction! But your page has only 70 likes. You can't engage Facebook followers if you don't have any.

4 Reasons Your Business Should Use Linkedin

Posted by Melody Rodriguez on Jul 30, 2014 10:00:00 AM

It's agreed that LinkedIn is one of the most important social networks to be on. To be exact, 100 million in the United States and 300 million in the world think so.

That's how many users the 11-year-old professional/social network has as of April 2014.

But isn't it funny that while much of the world finds it valuable, the average user only logs on 2.9 times per month, according to Undercover Recruiter. In fact, only 2% are considered "addicts," according to Quantcast.

So what is all the fuss about, and is it really that important for me to log on?

Yes and no. It depends.

Posted by Melody Rodriguez on Jul 14, 2014 11:51:00 AM

As the CEO, social media is a necessary evil. To be honest, you don't like it much. You don't even know if you're seeing any return on the time your team puts into it. And sometimes it looks too fun to be work.

The truth is, you're doing the right thing by being on Facebook. Social media is necessary right now if you want your company to have a chance of competing online. So keep paying that intern and/ or encourage your social media marketing team to do well and do more.

Ultimately, think about your buyer persona. Where do they go for information? If it's not Facebook, then another social media platform may be better to post on. Read more about how to define your buyer persona.
