Incorporating inbound marketing into your organization is going to take time and communication. The setup and planning process takes about 30 days, and includes setting up the technology aspect as well as campaign planning.

Communication between your sales and marketing teams is crucial; both need to understand the inbound marketing methodology and get on board, so you can effectively work together to generate quality leads and close more customers.

Note: Inbound marketing has been the best method for doing business online since 2006, but inbound is not a sales engine, rather it empower organizations to reach the right prospects and generate quality leads.

In order to close more customers, your sales team needs to be involved, providing feedback to marketing about lead quality and how best to reach them. In addition, marketing can provide valuable insight about prospects through inbound marketing, so communication is key.
